Here at Chy-an-Gwedhen, which is Cornish for 'house by the tree', we offer our guests not only a comfortable and relaxed stay but a convenient base to explore St Ives and the surrounding area.
All rooms are en-suite, most with breath taking views across the bay. When enquiring about accommodation please let us know of any special needs or requirements, so we can advise on our room's suitability. Each room has:

Complimentary breakfast including cereals, yoghurts and fruit are available when booking direct. Hot options are available for a small extra charge.
There is a private car park and our own garden to sit and relax in.
We are open from the begining of March through to late November.
Carbis Bay Beach, Carbis Bay
Just a short walk from us, at the bottom of the hill, is the family beach on Carbis Bay. Located above the beach, is Carbis Bay Railway Station, one stop away on the regular railway link to St Ives.
Porthkidney Sands
A short walk from Carbis Bay beach, along the Coastal Path, is the glorious, expansive Porthkidney Sands, with over a mile of golden sands.
